Office 365: Shortcut to the classic SPO features in the Modern SPO Admin Center (I)!

One of the latest additions to the modern SPO Admin Center is the possibility to access to classic features directy from this Admin Center, so in theory we will not need to access the classic admin center anymore. This new Classic features setting is currently available in the modern SPO Admin Center for tenants where Targeted release is enabled (I have checked some tenants in standard release and I have verified the setting is not there yet). Once you click on the Classic features link, you will see a new page with a shortcut for every classic setting that has not been modernized yet by Microsoft:

If you click on any of those classic settings, you will access to the specific classic page from you can access to any of the settings provided.  For instance, bellow you can find the settings available when you click the User profiles setting:

So far, “Liking” a post was the only way to react to any message posted in a channel conversation or in a private chat. This “only” reaction option has been extended with some additional reactions as shown in the following imagen:

Of course, all the reactions made by different users are going to be reflected and counted in the messages posted:

Hasta ahora, cuando un usuario posteaba un mensaje en Teams (tanto en chat privados como en canales) la única posibilidad que tenían otros usuarios de tener una reacción al mismo era a través de un simple “Me gusta”. Esta opción ha sido complementada recientemente con opciones adicionales de reacción como muestra la siguiente captura de pantalla:

Y por supuesto, las reacciones realizadas por distintos usuarios estarán reflejadas en el mensaje:

As part of the evolution in the integration between Teams and Planner, Tasks assignments in Planner are going to be notified in Teams in the following ways:

  • As conversations in a private chat between the user and the Planner Bot.
