SharePoint: January 2023 cumulative updates are now available!

January 2023 Cumulative Updates (CU) for SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition are now available. 

Cumulative Updates for SharePoint 2013 

In order to install this CU for SharePoint 2013, it’s required Service Pack 1 for SharePoint 2013.

Power Platform: Developer environments con capacidades de Dataverse!

Sin duda un gran paso adelante el que acaba de dar el equipo de Power Platform al dotarnos de la posibilidad de crear hasta 3 Developer Environments por Maker con capacidades de Dataverse sin coste adicional, es decir, no es necesario tener licenciamiento Premium para poder crear estos entornos. Algunos datos a tener en cuenta que podéis ver tanto en el video como en el post del equipo de Power Platform:

  • Podemos hacer uso de conectores premium en los entornos de desarrollo que creemos.
  • Podemos crear tantas aplicaciones como se necesiten en dichos entornos.
  • Las aplicaciones se pueden compartir con cualquier usuario.
  • Tenemos un límite de 2 GB / Entorno que no cuenta contra el espacio de Dataverse que tengamos disponible.

Estos entornos de desarrollo se pueden promocionar posteriormente a entornos Sandbox o de Producción. Desde el punto de vista de gobierno, esta característica se puede deshabilitar o que esté disponible para ciertos administradores.

Microsoft 365: New grid view for Planner Plans (I)!

Microsoft has added a new grid view to a Planner Plan. From this view we can not only see existing Tasks and their status, but also modify them and create new tasks. This new view complements existing Planner Plans views (Boards, Charts and Schedule) and aligns the user experience of Planner with the user experience in the Tasks by Planner App in Teams.

Microsoft 365: Recurrence Tasks in Planner (I)!

So far, we didn’t have the option to create recurrence/repeated tasks in period of time in Panner Plans. With the new addition of the Recurrence field it’s possible to create that kind of Tasks in Planner Plan by simply choosing the recurrence period.

In order to visualize the recurrence of a given Tasks, we need to access the Schedule view. In the other Planner Plan views we are not going to see the recurrence, only the task has been defined as recurrent.

Microsoft 365: Nueva experiencia de usuario para gestionar las opciones de reuniones de Teams (I)!

Con el fin de mejorar le experiencia de usuario a la hora de gestionar reuniones de Teams, Microsoft ha realizado una actualización en la que las opciones de reunión se han agrupado por categorías y luego por cada categoría tendremos acceso a las configuraciones correspondientes. Por ejemplo, las opciones de grabación y transcripción aparecerán en la categoría de Record and Transcribe:
