Microsoft 365: Filter options in private chats in Microsoft Teams (I)!

For those occasions where we need to find a specific chat, Teams client not only provides the ability to search for a chat by using a free text, but also by offering three different filters: mute chats, unread chats and meeting chats.

Those filters options are available when we click in the “…” that shows up next to the chat search box. If we click “Meetings” we are going to see the chat of the last meetings the user has participated in:

And just in case you are wondering if it’s possible to use more than one filter, the answer is now. Filter options provided for private chats are exclusive.

Para situaciones en las que tenemos muchos chats y queremos localizar un chat específico, Teams nos proporciona no solo la posibilidad de filtrar por texto libre sino hacer uso de una serie de opciones de filtrado entre las que se incluye mostrar los chats de reuniones, los chats muteados o los chats no leídos:

Estas opciones se muestran cuando hacemos click en los “…” que aparecen al lado de la búsqueda por texto libre. Si por ejemplo seleccionamos “Meetings”, se mostrarán los chats relativos a reuniones en las que hemos participado:

Y por si os lo preguntáis, los filtros son exclusivos, es decir, no es posible combinarlos.
