Microsoft 365: Editing SharePoint pages in Microsoft Teams (I)!

The integration of SharePoint features in Microsoft Teams is getting deeper with the new additions incorporated by Microsoft. In this article I will take a look at the new Edit option we can found on any SharePoint page we have available in Teams trough a SharePoint Tab, a custom Teams App or Microsoft Viva Connections. Basically, for a given page you browse in Teams, you will see the “Edit” action that allows to edit the page as if you were doing the same in the SharePoint UI:

When you edit de page, you will be able to do the same actions you are used to when editing a SharePoint page in a site: adding new sections, updating and customizing existing sections, adding WebParts, configuring WebParts, etc.

Additionally, you will have the possibility to access the page properties panel to make any modification on them: change the page thumbnail, add information to the page metadata, etc.

La integración de SharePoint y Microsoft Teams sigue incorporando nuevas posibilidades y en esta ocasión os presento la posibilidad de editar páginas de SharePoint directamente en Teams. Basta con añadir una página en un canal usando la pestaña SharePoint para visualizar esta opción:

Cuando editamos la página tendremos las mismas posibilidades ya conocidas al editar páginas como poder añadir una nueva sección, añadir nuevos WebParts, etc.

Adicionalmente tendremos la posibilidad de acceder al panel de propiedades de la página y realizar cambios en estas.
