Microsoft 365: Disabling comments per list in Microsoft Lists(I)!

AS you know, there is a great comments feature available in any Microsoft Lists list that enables user to post comments at the list item level. But it might happen, it’s required to disable this feature at the list level…so far this was not possible and you could only disable comments feature in Microsoft Lists globally. Fortunately, we can now disable comments on a per list basis by means of a setting available in the list Advanced settings:

Once you disable comments on a list, it will not be possible to post comments any more through the comments panel that is still visible and accessible through the comments action at the list item level.
