Until now, to change ODFB storage for a single user in Microsoft 365, we had to use some PowerShell code so we could increase or decrease user’s ODFB quota storage. With a recent update added to user management in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, we can do this operation (only for increasing ODFB storage space) directly in the user details panel.
To change ODFB storage space for a user, browse the users list in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and then select one of your users. When the user details panel shows, click on the OneDrive section and then in the “Edit” link under Storage used:
You will have access to a new side panel where you can increase ODFB storage space for the user selected without having to touch ODFB global storage that applies to all the users in your tenant.
