Live Captions is a Microsoft Teams featura available for Teams Meetings that enables to see what a Teams participant is saying. Live Captions is currently in preview and it only supports English language. To start using Live Captions in Teams, we have first to enable it by means of PowerShell or the Teams Admin Center. To enable this feature in the Teams Admin Center, go to Meetings –> Teams meetings and them click the Meetings policy where you want to enable it. Once you are on the Meetings policy deteails page, simply verify Live Captions is enabled (By default, this feature is disabled):
Once the setting is enabled, just start a new Teams meeting, click the “…” in the Meeting actions bar and you should see the option to enable Live captions for the meeting:
When Live captions is enabled for the meeting, you will see the captions on your screen as soon as someone on the meeting starts to speak:
