Finally the so long waited page templates for modern SharePoint Online (SPO) Sites are finally here so any user can easily create beautiful pages from default templates or just create new page templates. By default, Microsoft provides thee page templates:
As you can see, when a page template is selected, the details of that page are shown in the create page panel. Additionally, any new page template created on the site it’s listed in the “Save on this site” section. If we choose any of the available page templates, a new moder page with the exact look & feel and structure is displayed in the browser:
At the moment of saving the page, we can either save the page as a site page or as a page template:
If we save the page as a template, it will be presented as an option to any user creating a new page on the site. Additionally, any new page template crated on the site is going to be saved in the “Templates” folder in the “Site Pages” library.
