A new Network Performance Tool for Office 365 has been recently released by Microsoft. The new tool, that can be considered as an early preview, is available in the following Url:
The tool, that’s very easy to use, allows to evaluate for a specific location if the network performance meets the parameters required to provide a good access to Office 465. For instance, a first performance parameter measured by the tool is the network latency to the closest Office 365 Service front door. In my case, the closest Office 365 Service front door is Amsterdam (as expected):
Additionally to the latency parameter, we will also get information about how our network performance compares to other Office 365 customers:
And for now, this is all the information the tool provides. Of course, this is something that will change in the future as Microsoft continues evolving it.
