Little by Little, we are seeing in SharePoint Online (SPO) some of the new features announced at Microsoft Ignite 2018. Among the new features released, we can find the new customization options for the page title in modern pages:
In any modern SPO page we will have not only the option to customize the background image, but also to choose between 4 display options for the page title:
The 4 configurations available for the page title are the following: Image and Title, Plain, Color Block and Overlap. For example, the Overlap setting provides the following user experience:
For any of the page title experience, we can apply a left or center alignment, add a text above the page title and show or not the page publishing date. Additionally, we can change the page author property for any other user that is member of the site. In this way, we can replace the default value (the user that created the page) for any other user.
