This time we are going to take a look to the new search experience arriving to the SharePoint Online (SPO) Home Page in Office 365:
As happens in the Office 365 Home page or in a modern SPO site home page, when the user makes clic in the search box, suggested content for the user is displayed. In the particular case of the SPO Home Page, the search engine suggests last SPO sites visited by the user and last documents the user has been working with.
When the user types a search tearm, automatically matching sites and documents the user has access to are shown.
If the user clicks on “See more results for <search term>”, he/she is redirected to the search results page. In this page, the user gets a set of results and different search scopes (All, Sites, Files, People, News). For some of the search scopes, the user have the possibility to use a filters panel to narrow the search results.
