Office 365: New notifications settings in Microsoft Planner!

Another highly requested feature in Planner has been the ability to provide a mechanism to planner users to manage tasks notifications so it’s not required anymore to enable notifications and subscriptions for all the Plan members:

• Under Planner settings there is a new Notifications option that will allow to access the new notifications settings in Planner:

• Each user can configure the following notifications in a Plan:
  • A notification is sent to the user each time someone assigns a task to him/her.
  • A notification is sent when a task assigned to the user is late, due today our due in the next 7 days.

• Notifications can be sent by e-mail or by means of a push notification to the Planner App. For instace, the following screenshot shows an example of the e-mail received when there are tasks that are upcoming:

• In the case of due tasks, the following screenshot shows the e-mail sent by Planner to the user.

Office 365: Nuevas opciones de configuración de notificaciones + recordatorios en Planner (I)!

Otra de las mejoras que Microsoft ha añadido a Planner es la posibilidad de una gestión más efectiva de las notificaciones de tareas sin tener que activar las notificaciones que se envían a los integrantes del Plan como integrantes del Grupo de Office 365 relacionado:

• Desde la opción de configuración del Plan actual, tenemos una opción Notificaciones (Notifications):

• Al hacer clic en esta opción se muestra un diálogo en el que tenemos 2 settings para configurar las notificaciones de Planner:
  • Qué se envíe una notificación cuando se asigna la tarea al usuario.
  • Qué se envíe una notificación cuando una tarea asignada no se ha realizado a tiempo, vence hoy o vence en los próximos 7 días.

• Un ejemplo de e-mail con tareas que van a vencer próximamente es el siguiente:
