Microsoft has just enabled a new section in the SharePoint Online (SPO) Central Administration named “Device Access” that is intended to provide controls to limit the access to SPO, OneDrive for Business (ODFB) and Groups from Apps and specific network locations. This new section is available in Office 365 tenants with First Release enabled:
Basically you will be able to perform the following configurations in this new section:
-
Allow / Block access to SPO, ODFB and Office 365 Groups to Apps that are not using modern authentication.
-
Conntrol access to SPO, ODFB and Office 365 Groups based on network location. You will be able to indicate IP ranges or specific IPs that are allowed to access to these services.
