If you need to install a NuGet package in your local machine and you don’t have Visual Studio installed, do not panic…you can make it by following the bellow steps:
First, you have to follow installation instructions for the NuGet CLI (Command Line Interface), which is the toll that will allow you to install NuGet packages on your local machine without having to install Visual Studio. Installation instructions (https://docs.nuget.org/ndocs/guides/install-nuget#nuget-cli) are quite straightforward:
Test your NuGet CLI installation by installing a first NuGet package using the following syntax:
nuget install <Name_NuGet_Package>
If everything foes fine, the installation process for the specified package (SPO CSOM in my case) will start:
Finally, simply verify the NuGet package installation was made as expected.
