Office 365: New user experience in SPO Recycle Bin(I)!

As part of the changes incorporated by Microsoft in the new SharePoint Online (SPO) user experience, we will find a new experience for SPO Recycle Bin aligned with the new experience we already know for document libraries, lists and site contents page:

  • In this new user experience, SPO Recycle Bin includes a Views option so you can inspect Recycle Bin contents using a list view or a tiles one:

  • But, and at least in two of my tenants, the Tiles view is not working at the moment of writing this blog post (1st of August, 2016) so you cannot take advantage of this view that allows you to quickly guess the content of a deleted file without the need of having to restore it.
  • If you select one or several files in the Recycle bin and click the Delete button, you will be asked for confirmation in a modal dialog that follows the look & feel of the new user experience.

  • And of course, the second level of the SPO Recycle Bin has also the same Look & Feel we have in the first level:
